This is for sure not the first export to Jordan by Tatra. In the press release of Tatra Trucks is mentioned delivery of 150 chassis to Jordan last year which was following the previous deliveries of 130 chassis between 2016 and 2018. In total delivered Tatra Trucks to Jordan during last five years 600 chassis out of which 328 pieces of last delivery (and probably all the preceding as well) are equipped with drive unit, which means an engine. The order is really significant as it is of about one billion Czech crowns value. That all is supplemented by another delivery of 60 Tatra lorries in price of almost 200 million Czech crowns. King Abdullah´s army decided on these lorries owing to their endurance and reliability.

AL-Wahsh vehicles are combat-proven machines produced for several years They were deployed for example in Lybia and Yemen. This 18-ton giant is driven by Cummins 276 kW engine, which is about 370 horsepower. An automatic transmission is already a matter of course as well as central inflation of tyres. The heavy vehicle is protected against most of common handguns, means the second level armour.

Tatra Trucks is no newbie in key components supplies. Besides Jordan it delivered chassis as well as complete vehicles also to Brazil and Turkey. Other African and Middle East countries are interested in chassis from Kopřivnice as well. For example, Nigerian armoured vehicles Ezugwu and Ara are built at their chassis. According to our information, the Nigerian army ordered 28 Ezugwu vehicles. These deliveries clearly prove qualities of company Tatra Trucks that belongs to the Czechoslovak Group holding.
