Land Rover vehicles supplied and serviced by Dajbych have long been established in the security forces. Whether it's current models (eg the new generation of Discovery in the fleet of the Czech Police and the Military Police) or the classic Land Rover Defender, which is in operational use in the number of hundreds. It is therefore logical that the new Defender, which is perceived as a breakthrough in off-road vehicles after its premiere last year, is intended for our security forces. Currently, the Dajbych car showroom has won a tender for 30 pieces for the Police of the Czech Republic and participated in the canceled tender for the Military Police.

The recently introduced vehicle, which we went to see in person, was created as a demonstrator for other units and institutions, for which it could be an ideal off-road vehicle for their fleet. Its technical specification is almost identical to the cars that the Police of the Czech Republic will receive. During its construction, emphasis was placed on simplicity, practical use and terrain features. It is actually a specification with everything important, which is the starting point and the end user can add to it for their specific needs.

An important factor for the introduction into service is the origin of the car. It is produced in the most modern factory in Nitra, Slovakia, and all modifications take place in the Czech company Dajbych, or its Czech partners. This not only records, for example, easy logistics, security of supply, but also the announced possibilities of joint purchases for the Czech and Slovak armed forces and security forces in the G-G format.

The vehicle is really very spacious, so comfort for a crew of 5 people is guaranteed. After we have tried to drive the new Defender ourselves, we must also acknowledge its very good driving characteristics and overall good handling.
