The Ministry of Defence is going to purchase 71 TATRA TRUCKS trucks
On Thursday, 15th August, Deputy Minister - Head of the Armaments and Acquisition Division of the Ministry of Defence Filip Říha together with Vice-Chairmen of the Board of Management of TATRA TRUCKS a.s. Petr Hendrych and Miloslav Mahut signed a purchase agreement for the delivery of off-road heavy and middle trucks.

According to this agreement, in total 71 pieces of these reliable vehicles, with which the Czech soldiers have very good experience, should be supplied to units and facilities of the Czech Armed Forces in the coming period. Whereas 37 T-815 trucks and 34 T-810 trucks will be delivered to the Czech Army in the period from 2020 to 2021. In years from 2022 to 2024, soldiery can obtain next thirty T-815 trucks.

“On the basis of this agreement, the delivery absolutely surely guarantees the increase of the shipping capacity necessary for the logistic support of units and facilities of the Army of the Czech Republic in performing tasks within battle drills, foreign operation and tasks related to the deployment of the Czech Armed Forces units in security and humanitarian operations," said Deputy Minister of Defence Filip Říha signing the agreement.

MoD of the Czech Republic is going to pay almost 557 million CZK for 71 trucks.
