The Army will receive the new Tatras, intended for the transport of the RBS-70NG anti-aircraft missile systems, based on a recent Government decision. Tatra T815-7T3R31.411 6x6.1R vehicles will contain installation elements for communication equipment and camouflage sets, including insulation of the vehicle body according to technical conditions. The total value of this public contract is CZK 163,423,968 excluding VAT.

As part of this public contract, the Army of the Czech Republic will be supplied with a total of 16 Tatra all-terrain military flatbed vehicles of the Tatra T 815-7T3R31.411 6x6.1R type, specially modified and equipped for the required purposes of the Czech Army according to the public contract specification "Means of transport for RBS-70 NG “. The aim is to ensure the mobility of newly created anti-aircraft units and at the same time unify the life cycle of the missile systems with the life of the chassis platform for the entire period of use in the Czech Army.

The new vehicles will be supplied by TATRA TRUCKS a.s. It is one of the long-term suppliers of military wheeled off-road vehicles for the Czech Army. The established TATRA vehicles meet not only the Czech defense standards, but also NATO international standards and in various modifications form the basis of the Czech Army ground logistics support. In this context, Czech Army has created its own technical and repair facilities with trained staff, able to fully ensure the operability of this equipment.

Installation elements for communication equipment will then be provided by the INTERLINK CS, spol. s r.o. company, which is the exclusive representative of HARRIS for the Czech and Slovak Republics.

B.O.I.S. - FILTRY, SPOL. s r.o. is a manufacturer of the required camouflage sets and a set of workplace insulation in the vehicle body and at the same time an established supplier of camouflage means to the Czech Army. The mentioned camouflage sets and workplace insulation sets produced by the given subject are the result of the development realized by the manufacturer and are already introduced in the Czech Army. The current delivery is thus a continuation of the previous development and deliveries.

The purchase of similar components for the above-mentioned public contract was carried out within the development project "Implementation of a modular ballistic protection system for the anti-aircraft RBS-70 squad for off-road medium truck T 810-V", held at VTÚ, sp for the Czech Army in 2013-2015, where mobile camouflage was purchased from BOIS - FILTERS in the total value of CZK 470,000 without VAT. The purchase of built-in elements for Harris radios was carried out in the Workshop Vehicles, Recovery Vehicles, PODTEO projects in the years 2015 to 2019 at a price of CZK 1,387,295 without VAT for one set. The purchase of similar Tatra vehicles took place in 2015 with the Workshop Vehicles at a total value of CZK 58,327,500.00 excluding VAT.
