Active Reserves members at Spartan Race in order to train their physical condition
Drudgery is a part of soldiers’ daily routine. Good physical condition can help soldiers when they carry full equipment in the field, run around the forest with a machine gun or pull an injured friend away from the battlefield. Keeping professionals in good physical condition is partially a job of their units. But with regard to the fact that Active Reserve Members only meet several times a year, there is in fact no time for workouts, as there are many tasks that have to be completed within the exercises. The only activity related to workouts is one examination in a year.

Active Reserves members must therefore take care of their physical condition themselves. Running (ideally with a load), exercises and weight training should be a fixed part of daily routine of an Active Reserves member, who takes the service seriously – at least every second day. And Spartan Race is one of the opportunities to test one’s physical condition.
